Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Cardiac Troponin T is the tropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex located on the thin filament of striated muscles. It regulates muscle contraction in response to intracellular calcium ion concentration changes and is essential for muscle function and myofibril formation.
In the human heart, four cTnT isoforms are expressed in a developmentally regulated manner. Expression is affected by heart failure, and mutations are associated with familial hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathies.
Cardiac Troponin T transcripts undergo alternative splicing, resulting in tissue-specific isoforms.
