For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD22 (BL-CAM) is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein (130–140 kDa) expressed on B-lymphocytes.
It appears early in B-cell differentiation, similar to CD19, and is limited to mature B cells (CD22⁺) and absent in plasma cells (CD22⁻).
CD22 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia and may assist in phenotyping mature leukemias.
It binds preferentially to α2,6-linked sialic acid, with ligand-induced tyrosine phosphorylation involved in B-cell receptor signaling regulation.
CD22 acts in both positive and inhibitory signaling roles, interacting with Src family kinases and recruiting phosphatases via SH2 domains.
Expression is positive in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and nodular lymphocyte predominance Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but negative in classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
