Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information
CD22 (BL-CAM) is a type I integral membrane glycoprotein (130–140 kDa) expressed in both cytoplasm and membrane of B-lymphocytes.
It appears early in B-cell differentiation, similar to CD19 expression.
Unlike other B-cell markers, CD22 membrane expression is limited to late differentiation stages (mature B cells to plasma cells), making it useful for phenotyping mature leukemias.
CD22 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and nodular lymphocyte predominance Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but negative in classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
It preferentially binds to α2,6-linked sialic acid and plays a regulatory role in B-cell receptor signaling through phosphorylation and phosphatase recruitment.
