Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes an RGD-containing protein that binds to type I, II, and IV collagens.
The RGD motif, found in many extracellular matrix proteins, modulates cell adhesion and serves as a ligand recognition sequence for several integrins.
This protein plays a role in cell–collagen interactions and may be involved in endochondrial bone formation in cartilage.
It is induced by transforming growth factor-beta and acts to inhibit cell adhesion.
Mutations in this gene are associated with multiple types of corneal dystrophy.
