Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Galactose-specific lectin which binds IgE. May mediate, with the alpha-3 beta-1 integrin, the stimulation by CSPG4 of endothelial cell migration.
Together with DMBT1, it is required for terminal differentiation of columnar epithelial cells during early embryogenesis.
In the nucleus, it acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor. Involved in acute inflammatory responses including neutrophil activation and adhesion, chemoattraction of monocytes/macrophages, opsonization of apoptotic neutrophils, and activation of mast cells.
