For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes the coagulation factor XIII A subunit, the final zymogen activated in the blood coagulation cascade.
Plasma factor XIII consists of two A subunits (catalytic) and two B subunits (carrier). Platelet factor XIII contains only two A subunits identical to plasma origin.
Upon thrombin cleavage and in the presence of calcium ions, the enzyme factor XIIIa is generated, catalyzing crosslinking between fibrin molecules to stabilize clots.
Deficiency in factor XIII can cause bleeding tendency, poor wound healing, and habitual abortion.
