Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TYMP (Thymidine Phosphorylase), also known as platelet-derived endothelial growth factor (PD-ECGF) or gliostatin, catalyzes the reversible phosphorolytic cleavage of thymidine and deoxyuridine into their corresponding bases and 2-deoxyribose-1-phosphate.
It functions as a chemotactic and mitogenic factor for endothelial cells and acts as a non-heparin-binding angiogenic factor present in platelets.
TYMP is also involved in the activation of fluoropyrimidines, cytotoxic agents used in cancer therapy, converting them into active metabolites.
