Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2)는 피루브산과 ATP로부터 인산화 인산에놀피루브산을 생성하는 효소입니다. PKM2는 갑상선 호르몬과 상호작용하여 세포 대사 조절에 관여하며, 세균 외막 단백질 Opa와 결합하여 병원성 관련 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다. 세 가지의 alternative splicing 전사체가 보고되어 있으며, 두 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 생성합니다.
