Target Information
CDC25A는 CDC25 인산화효소 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 인간 세포에는 CDC25A, CDC25B, CDC25C 세 가지 유전자가 존재합니다. 이들은 세포 주기의 서로 다른 단계에서 기능하며, CDC25A는 G1 및 S기 진행에 필요합니다. CDC25A는 cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2의 인산기를 제거하여 활성화시키며, DNA 손상 시 분해되어 염색체 이상이 있는 세포가 분열을 진행하지 못하도록 합니다. CDC25A는 종양유전자로 알려져 있으나, 발암 과정에서의 정확한 역할은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
