Target Information
Expression of MC4R has been reported in the brain. Unlike other melanocortin receptors, MC4R is not expressed in adrenal cortex or melanocytes.
G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) represent one of the largest families of signaling molecules, sharing a structural motif of seven membrane-spanning helices.
