Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during active phases of the cell cycle (late G1, S, G2, and M phases).
It associates with euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, and the nucleolus through its FHA domain.
Expression patterns vary by cell cycle phase:

  • Perinucleolar expression in G1
  • Nuclear matrix localization in G2
  • Chromosomal association during M phase

Ki-67 is widely used as a proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells and increases from G1 through mitosis.
It helps determine the growth fraction in neoplasms, correlating with tumor grade and prognosis.
Commonly used as a neuronal marker for cell cycling and proliferation studies.
