Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during various stages of the cell cycle, particularly in late G1, S, G2, and M phases. It associates with euchromatin at the perichromosomal layer, centromeric heterochromatin, and nucleolus through its forkhead-associated (FHA) domain.

  • Ki-67 shows cell cycle–dependent localization: perinucleolar in G1, nuclear matrix in G2, and chromosomal during M phase.
  • Commonly used as a proliferation marker since it is absent in G0 cells and increases from G1 through mitosis.
  • Useful for determining the proliferative fraction in neoplasms and correlates with tumor grade.
  • Routinely used as a neuronal marker of cell cycling and proliferation.
