Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-17E. Anti-Human IL-17E-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-17E by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When paired with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-17E (500-P89Bt) as a detection antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-17E.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human IL-17E by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-17E is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Interleukin 25 (IL-25), also known as IL-17E, is a member of the IL-17 family and functions as a proinflammatory cytokine produced by Th17 effector cells. It plays a role in autoimmune processes such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and induces activation of NF-kappa-B, stimulating IL-8 production. IL-25 activity is regulated by IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta.
