• Preparation:
  Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-17F. Anti-Human IL-17F-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IL-17F matrix.

• Sandwich ELISA:
  To detect Human IL-17F by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
  This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-17F (500-P90Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-17F.

• Western Blot:
  To detect hIL-17F by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
  Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hIL-17F is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IL-17F (Interleukin 17F, CTLA-8)는 IL-17 family에 속하는 사이토카인으로, 활성화된 T 세포, 비만세포, 호염기구 등 염증성 세포에서 생성됩니다.
IL-17F는 기관지 상피세포, 정맥 내피세포, 섬유아세포, 호산구에서 여러 사이토카인, 케모카인, 접착분자 발현을 유도합니다.
IL-17F는 IL-17A와의 이합체 형태로 분비될 수 있으며, IL-17R 수용체를 통해 단핵구 및 호중구의 염증 부위 모집을 돕습니다.
또한 TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 등의 염증성 사이토카인 유도에 관여하며, 류머티즘 관절염, 건선, 다발성 경화증 등 만성 염증성 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
TGF-β와 IL-23은 Th17 세포의 유도 및 유지에 필요하며, IL-17F는 활성화된 effector memory T 세포에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
IL-17F는 내피세포의 혈관신생을 억제하고 IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, MCP-1 생산을 유도합니다.
