Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-17D. The anti-Human IL-17D-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IL-17D by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-17D (500-P88) as the capture antibody, it allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-17D.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human IL-17D by Western blot, use at 0.1–0.2 mg/mL. With compatible reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-17D is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine sharing sequence similarity with IL17. Treatment of endothelial cells with this cytokine stimulates production of IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM-CSF. IL8 expression induced by this cytokine is NF-kappa B-dependent.
