Product Specific Information
For maximum recovery, spin prior to use.
Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use directly from original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, aliquoting may reduce freeze/thaw cycles. Avoid aliquots below 20 µL and do not store diluted kinase.
Properly stored at -80°C, product is guaranteed for 6 months from purchase.
This recombinant human SIK1 (1–303) was expressed in Sf9 insect cells via baculovirus with an N-terminal GST tag.

Target Information
SIK1 may mediate the physiological effects of LKB1, including its tumor suppressor function. It participates in signaling with proteins such as STRAD, NUAK1, NUAK2, BRSK1, BRSK2, QIK, QSK, SIK, MARK1–4, and MELK related to AMPK pathways.
Phosphorylation at Thr322 activates SIK1, increasing Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase activity and intracellular sodium levels.
SIK1 belongs to the STE kinase group, which includes kinases related to MAPK cascade families (Ste7/MAP2K, Ste11/MAP3K, Ste20/MAP4K). MAP kinase cascades are key in yeast pheromone response pathways, where pheromone binding triggers MAPK activation.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
