This antibody is predicted to react with human, bovine, mouse, and chimpanzee based on sequence homology.
Target Information
MYADM, belonging to the MAL family, is a 322-amino acid protein with seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains, potential phosphorylation sites, and sequence homology with the T-cell differentiation protein MAL and plasmolipin. It shares 75.8% sequence identity with mouse in transmembrane regions and is associated with differentiation of hematopoietic or acute promyelocytic leukemia cells. Its expression increases in NB4 cells induced by all-trans retinoic acid, while downregulation inhibits bone marrow colony formation. MYADM may serve as a marker for hematopoietic differentiation and a potential diagnostic or therapeutic target. It is widely expressed in brain and pancreatic islet cells.
