Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size. The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C. The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

This gene belongs to the serotonin receptor family, which are G protein-coupled receptors that stimulate cAMP production in response to serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine). The gene product is a glycosylated transmembrane protein functioning in both the peripheral and central nervous systems to modulate neurotransmitter release. Multiple transcript variants with distinct C-terminal sequences have been described, though some full-length variants remain undetermined.
