Product Specific Information
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase (TdT) is a DNA polymerase located in the cell nucleus that catalyzes the polymerization of deoxynucleotides at the 3′ hydroxyl ends of oligo or polydeoxynucleotide initiators, functioning without a template.
TdT serves as a highly specific marker for the diagnosis and classification of acute lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemias. Determining TdT expression is particularly useful for distinguishing histologically between lymphoblastic lymphoma and Burkitt’s lymphoma.
