Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:

  • Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

NDRG1 is a 394-amino acid cytoplasmic protein of the NDRG family. It interacts with APO A-I and A-II and is involved in HDL-mediated cholesterol transport, stress and hormone responses, and cell growth and differentiation.
Defects in NDRG1 cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4D (CMT4D), characterized by reduced nerve conduction velocities, demyelination, remyelination with onion bulb formations, progressive distal muscle atrophy, and weakness.
NDRG1 acts as a growth inhibitory marker of differentiation and is expressed in placental membranes, prostate, kidney, small intestine, ovary, colon, and luminal border cells.
