Product Specific Information
The eBioABL-93 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD107b (LAMP-2), a highly glycosylated protein (~120 kDa) expressed in lysosomal membranes. It is transiently expressed on cytolytic T cell surfaces during degranulation and may be identical to the mouse Mac-3 antigen.
Applications Reported:
Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal mouse cells. Recommended ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize antibody titration for best results.

Target Information
LAMP2 (CD107b) is a lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein involved in lysosome biogenesis and phagosome fusion. It provides selectins with carbohydrate ligands and may play a role in tumor metastasis and lysosomal protection.

- Mature form: 100–130 kDa (glycosylated)
- Structure: Large intra-lysosomal domain, transmembrane domain, short cytoplasmic tail
- Isoforms: LAMP-2A, LAMP-2B, LAMP-2C
- Function: Regulates chaperone-mediated autophagy and phagosomal maturation
- Deficiency causes autophagosome accumulation leading to cardiomyopathy and myopathy (Danon’s disease)
