Target Information

Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant in many murine and human cancers and is up-regulated upon IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
