Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling.
Upon binding PD-1, PD-L1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers and is up-regulated upon IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting a role in tumor immune evasion.
