Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45301 was sufficient for detection of HSP47 in 20 µg of heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects 47 kDa.
Target Information
SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors, and its expression is induced by heat shock. The protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen, functioning as a molecular chaperone in collagen maturation. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
