Goat anti-pig IgA antibody recognizes porcine IgA and shows no cross-reactivity with other porcine immunoglobulin classes as assessed by immunoelectrophoresis.

Target Information

Anti-Pig secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for porcine (swine, pig) immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
