This antibody reacts with an epitope irrelevant for a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed human, mouse, and rat tissues.
MA1-192-D488 can be used as a negative control in any immunoassay where a DyLight 488-conjugated primary antibody of the mouse IgG2b isotype is used.
DyLight 488 has an excitation/emission of 493/518 nm.
Target Information
Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response.
Mouse IgG2b consists of two heavy and two light chains and is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and inhibition of B cell activation.
Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic studies including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
