Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

MAP3K5 (ASK1) is a serine/threonine kinase abundantly expressed in human heart and pancreas. It is activated by cytokines, growth factors, and environmental stresses. ASK1 activates MAPKKs MKK4 and MKK6, leading to activation of JNK and p38 MAP kinases. It interacts with TRAF family members and Daxx, mediating TNFR- and Fas-induced apoptosis. Overexpression induces apoptotic cell death, while inactive forms inhibit TNF-α-induced apoptosis. ASK1 is expressed in various human and mouse tissues.
