Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information

SLP-76 is a substrate of the ZAP-70 protein tyrosine kinase following T cell receptor (TCR) ligation in Jurkat T cells. The human SLP-76 gene is localized to chromosome 5q33 and encodes a 533 amino acid protein sharing 72% identity with the murine counterpart.
This adaptor protein contains:

• NH2-terminus: Acidic region with PEST domain and phosphorylated tyrosine residues
• Central region: Proline-rich domain
• COOH-terminus: SH2 domain

SLP-76 interacts with multiple proteins constitutively and inducibly after receptor activation, functioning as a scaffold protein. Studies using SLP-76 deficient cells or mice demonstrate its role in T cell development, activation, mast cell, and platelet function.
