This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig, Dog, and Rat.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened for optimal candidates.

Target Information

Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes are divided into NAD(+)-dependent and NADP(+)-dependent subclasses.

Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been reported:

  1. Three NAD(+)-dependent forms localized to the mitochondrial matrix
  2. Two NADP(+)-dependent forms, one mitochondrial and one cytosolic

The IDH1 gene encodes the NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase found in cytoplasm and peroxisomes. It includes a PTS-1 peroxisomal targeting sequence and contributes to NADPH regeneration for peroxisomal reduction reactions and cytoplasmic NADPH production.
