Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MCP-4 (CCL13). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MCP-4 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MCP-4 (CCL13) (500-P04) as a capture antibody, it enables detection of 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human MCP-4.

Western Blot:
For detection of Human MCP-4 by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible reagents, detection limit for Recombinant Human MCP-4 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 4 (MCP-4), also known as CCL13, is induced by inflammatory proteins such as IL-1 and TNFα. MCP-4 acts as a ligand for G protein-coupled receptors CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5, activating signaling in monocytes, T lymphocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. This signaling is associated with allergic responses.
