Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The MOG gene encodes a membrane protein expressed on the oligodendrocyte cell surface and the outermost surface of myelin sheaths. This localization makes it a primary target antigen in immune-mediated demyelination. The protein may play roles in myelin sheath formation, maintenance, and cell-cell communication. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
