Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:
- Superior specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
The MVP (Major Vault Protein) gene encodes a lung resistance-related protein. Vaults are multi-subunit structures potentially involved in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport. MVP mediates drug resistance, possibly via a transport mechanism. It is widely expressed in normal tissues and overexpressed in multidrug-resistant cancer cells, making it a useful marker of clinical drug resistance.
This gene produces two transcripts using alternative exon 2 sequences, but both share the same open reading frame.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
