Target Information
N-cadherin은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착을 매개하는 140 kDa 막단백질로, 발생 과정 중 형태형성 운동을 조절하고 세포 표면 접착을 조절하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 이 단백질은 actin-cytoskeleton과의 상호작용을 통해 기능하며, C-말단 영역의 catenin 단백질과 결합하여 안정성을 유지합니다. 또한 N-cadherin은 5개의 extracellular cadherin 반복, 막관통 영역, 보존된 세포질 꼬리를 포함하며, gastrulation 동안 기능하고 좌우 비대칭성 확립에 필요합니다.
