Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase는 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) 신호 전달 경로에서 작용하는 이중 특이성 단백질 키나아제로, 세포 성장과 분화를 조절합니다. 다양한 성장인자와 사이토카인에 의해 활성화되며, 막 탈분극 및 칼슘 유입에 의해서도 활성화됩니다. Raf1에 의해 Ser218 및 Ser222 잔기의 인산화로 활성화되며, 스트레스 반응, 세포사멸(apoptosis), 사이토카인에 의한 증식 유도 신호에 관여합니다. 해당 유전자 변이는 cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome을 유발할 수 있습니다.
