Product Specific Information

• Rat IgG2b monoclonal antibody useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
• Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
• Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells and mouse spleen cells.
• Use isotype control at the same concentration as experimental antibody.
• Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Recommended filter: 610/20 bandpass.
• When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
• Light sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 2–8°C in the dark.
• Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 600 nm; Laser: Violet Laser.

Target Information

Rat IgG2b encodes immunoglobulin G2b subclass of rat antibodies, playing a key role in immune response by neutralizing pathogens and promoting opsonization. Commonly used in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and Western blotting.
