Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody M1-14D12 recognizes mouse IgG1 antibodies and can be used as a second-step reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy. It does not cross-react with other mouse isotypes or rat immunoglobulins.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.

Fluorochrome Properties:
Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Recommended bandpass filter: 610/20 nm. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Staining Guidance:
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions. Refer to datasheet for details.

Light Sensitivity:
Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-57) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. Useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies. Secondary antibodies enable versatile detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide signal amplification.

Typically produced by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to yield high-specificity reagents.
