Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

USP7 (also known as HAUSP) is a ubiquitin-specific protease that removes ubiquitin from its substrates. Since ubiquitination commonly regulates protein degradation, HAUSP activity stabilizes its substrate proteins. It acts as an antagonist of Mdm2, the E3 ubiquitin ligase for p53, thereby protecting p53 from degradation and contributing to tumor suppressor functions.
Additionally, HAUSP plays a role in oncogenic signaling pathways involving Myc and E1A, potentially providing an alternative mechanism for p53 stabilization in response to oncogenic stress.
