Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The FBXO21 gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by a ~40 amino acid F-box motif.
F-box proteins are components of the SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.
They are categorized into three classes:
- Fbws: Contain WD-40 domains
- Fbls: Contain leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs: Contain diverse protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXO21 belongs to the Fbxs class. Alternative splicing generates two transcript variants.
