Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform another round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FBXO21 encodes a member of the F-box protein family characterized by a ~40 amino acid F-box motif. These proteins form part of the SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.
F-box proteins are classified into three groups:
- Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
- Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs: containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXO21 belongs to the Fbxs class. Alternative splicing generates two transcript variants.
