For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TIMP-1 and TIMP-2 are inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases, crucial for maintaining connective tissue integrity.
TIMP-2 binds both latent and active forms of 72 kDa Type IV collagenase (MMP-2/gelatinase A) and the active form of 92 kDa Type IV collagenase (MMP-9/gelatinase B).
It inhibits proteolytic invasiveness of tumor and placental trophoblast cells.
