Description:
Monoclonal antibody 2H7CD155 recognizes CD155 (poliovirus receptor), a member of the Ig superfamily. Four isoforms exist, with alpha and delta forms expressed on monocytes, prostate cancer cells, and neuroectodermal or monocytic tumor cell lines. CD155 is also found during mid-gastrulation in embryonic development and plays roles in adhesion via vitronectin and NK cell-mediated tumor killing. CD226 and CD96 are ligands for CD155, and blocking CD155 is under investigation for poliovirus variant prevention.

Reported for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells or human tumor cell line U937. Use at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirical determination recommended).
Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with the blue laser (488 nm). Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable alternative). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Light Sensitivity:
Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vials and stained samples from light.

Target Information
The encoded CD155 protein is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Its external domain mediates attachment to extracellular matrix molecule vitronectin, and the intracellular domain interacts with dynein light chain Tctex-1/DYNLT1. This gene is primate-specific and serves as a cellular receptor for poliovirus. Multiple transcript variants exist.
