For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

E-Cadherin (epithelial cadherin) is a classical cadherin belonging to the calcium-dependent adhesion protein superfamily.
It is a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Mutations in the CDH1 gene are associated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid, and ovarian cancers.
Loss of E-cadherin function contributes to cancer progression by enhancing proliferation, invasion, and metastasis.
E-cadherin also mediates bacterial adhesion and plays a crucial role in maintaining epithelial tissue integrity and architecture.
In humans, the CDH1 gene is located on chromosome 16.
