Target Information
STK3 (MST2)는 MAP kinase signaling 경로 상류에서 작용하는 STE kinase 계열 단백질로, staurosporine 및 FAS ligand에 의해 활성화되는 pro-apoptotic kinase입니다. Caspase 절단 후 핵으로 이동하여 염색질 응축 및 DNA fragmentation을 유도합니다.
Hippo signaling pathway의 핵심 구성 요소로서, 세포 증식 억제 및 세포 사멸 촉진을 통해 장기 크기 조절과 종양 억제에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
STK3/MST2와 STK4/MST1은 SAV1, LATS1/2, MOB1 복합체와 함께 YAP1 및 WWTR1/TAZ를 인산화하여 세포 성장, 사멸, 이동 관련 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
