Target Information
IRS-1는 인슐린 수용체의 주요 기질로, 인슐린, IGF-1, IL-4 자극에 의해 인산화됩니다. 다양한 조직에서 serine, threonine, tyrosine 잔기들이 인산화되며, casein kinase II가 IRS-1의 serine/threonine 인산화를 매개합니다. 이 효소는 rat IRS-1에서 Thr502와 Ser99를 인산화하며, IRS-1의 intracellular insulin signaling cascade에 관여합니다. IRS-1은 14-3-3 결합 부위(Ser270, Ser374, Ser641)를 포함하고 있으며, Ser270 주변 모티프는 인슐린 수용체와의 결합에 중요한 phosphotyrosine binding domain에 위치합니다.
