Target Information
IKK alpha/beta는 인간에서 각각 CHUK (conserved helix-loop-helix ubiquitous kinase) 및 IKKB (inhibitor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells) 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다.
NF-κB 경로를 활성화하는 TNF-α 등의 자극에 의해 IKK 복합체의 두 서브유닛(α, β)은 조절 단백질 NEMO (IKKγ)와 함께 IκB 단백질을 인산화시켜 유비퀴틴 매개 분해를 유도하고, NF-κB의 핵 내 이동을 촉진합니다.
활성 루프 내 Ser176 및 Ser180의 인산화는 키나아제 활성화를 위한 구조적 변화를 유도합니다.
