For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The Lipin family of nuclear proteins includes Lipin-1, Lipin-2, and Lipin-3, all containing a nuclear signal sequence, an NLIP domain, and a CLIP domain.
LPIN1 (Lipin-1) is essential for normal adipose tissue development and metabolism. It activates PGC-1A target pathways such as fatty acid oxidation and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation via PPARA induction.
LPIN1 also suppresses lipogenesis and circulating lipid levels. Excess LPIN1 promotes fat accumulation and insulin sensitivity, while deficiency may cause insulin resistance and lipodystrophy characterized by fat loss, fatty liver, and hypertriglyceridemia.
