Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The Lipin family of nuclear proteins includes Lipin-1 (LPIN1), Lipin-2, and Lipin-3, all containing a nuclear localization signal and conserved NLIP and CLIP domains.
LPIN1 is essential for adipose tissue development and metabolism, activating fatty acid oxidation and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation pathways via PGC-1A and PPARA.
LPIN1 deficiency may lead to lipodystrophy, insulin resistance, and fatty liver, while its abundance promotes fat accumulation and insulin sensitivity.
