Target Information
JAB-1 is a 38 kDa protein originally described as a coactivator for cJUN. It is part of the large protein complex known as the Signalosome, which plays a signaling role in mammalian cells and is analogous to the COP9 complex in plants. JAB-1 may be involved in targeting proteins for degradation by the proteasome.
