Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

ESRRB (steroid hormone receptor ERR2) plays a role in maintaining self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic and trophoblast stem cells through signaling pathways such as FGF and Wnt. Upon activation of FGF signaling, ESRRB interacts with KDM1A by binding to enhancer sites of ELF5 and EOMES, activating their transcription and promoting trophoblast stem cell self-renewal.

ESRRB also regulates expression of rod-specific genes and is essential for survival of these cells. Mutations in ESRRB can cause autosomal recessive deafness type 35 (DFNB35).
