Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IGFBP-6 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhIGFBP-1, rhIGFBP-2, rhIGFBP-3, rhIGFBP-4, and rhIGFBP-5.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
IGF-BPs regulate the distribution, function, and activity of IGFs in various cell tissues and body fluids.
IGF-BP6 specifically inhibits IGF-II actions, produced by bone cells, and is the major IGF-BP in cerebrospinal fluid.
It has been shown to inhibit IGF-II-dependent cancers such as neuroblastoma, colon cancer, and rhabdomyosarcoma.
